Est Est Alea is renowned for changing with the times, with winter coming and feedback that time is of essence when it comes to dining, we wanted to do something a little different. We wanted to have a little fun with the menu and create something that allowed our guests to be “masters of their own destiny”.
So, we went back to one of our old menus from 2016 – A trip around the world – and thought of elaborating on this.
Dario has travelled to, lived in and eaten in over 50 countries around the world (and still counting). He loves traveling and seeing new destinations (as well as revisiting old ones).
His thought was why not do a worldwide menu based on flying & traveling?
AND SO THE IDEA OF IN-FLIGHT DINING WAS BORN.
Based on the 2016 menu and a combination of Ethnic dishes and in-flight dinner trays – our “In-flight Dinner Tasting Menu” has arrived.
It’s condensed. It deals with timing issues, and it allows you variables in your tasting menu experience.
We have 2 options, the full menu and half menu. The full menu allows you to select an in-flight dining tray of your choice from the 5 regions to start, a main course and a dessert. The half menu allows for you to select a tray and a dessert.
Recommended duration for the full menu will take 2 hours and for the half menu 1.5 hours. We indicate times as a guideline but these are not definitive.
